How to find the right wing mirror for your car

1. Identify the side. In Ireland, right is driver's side, left is passenger. See wing side mirror.
2. Note make, model and year. Your registration and the V5 or registration cert will confirm the year.
3. Check the trim. Higher trims often have heated, folding or indicator mirrors.
4. Test the features. Does it adjust electrically? Fold? Show an indicator? Clear mist when the rear screen heater is on?
5. Look for a part number. It may be moulded or printed on the back of the mirror or on the glass.
6. Take photos. Photograph the back of the mirror and the plug. We can compare these.
