Toyota wing mirrors

Advice for choosing and replacing wing mirrors on Toyota cars sold in Ireland.

About Toyota wing mirrors

Toyota is one of the most common badges on Irish roads, so replacement demand is steady across the Yaris, Corolla and Auris. Many Yaris and Corolla models from the last decade came with electric adjustment, and higher trims add heated glass, folding motors and indicator repeaters. The pin count on the plug changes between trims, so match your trim level, not just the model.

Toyota wing mirror FAQs

Does my Toyota have a heated wing mirror?

Many mid and high trims do. Look for a small heating symbol on the glass or a rear-window demister button that also warms the mirrors.

Can I just replace the glass on my Toyota wing mirror?

If the housing, motor and indicator are fine, yes. Glass-only replacement is the cheapest fix, but you must match the side and whether the glass is heated.

Which side is the driver's side Toyota wing mirror in Ireland?

The right-hand (offside) mirror. The left-hand (nearside) mirror is the passenger side.
