BMW wing mirrors
Advice for choosing and replacing wing mirrors on BMW cars sold in Ireland.
About BMW wing mirrors
BMW wing mirrors are often specified with folding, memory, auto-dimming and blind spot detection, so the options list matters a great deal. Glass on some models is fitted differently to other brands, and rough handling can break the clips. If you are not confident, a fitter is a sensible choice.

Does a BMW wing mirror have memory function?
Some trims do, linked to the seat memory. Fitting a basic mirror to a memory car may leave functions unused or cause faults.
Is it difficult to change BMW mirror glass?
It is usually manageable with care, but clips can be fragile. Take your time and wear gloves and eye protection.
Which side is the driver's side BMW wing mirror in Ireland?
The right-hand (offside) mirror. The left-hand (nearside) mirror is the passenger side.
